WHY IT'S SPECIAL: 

Rose Water - touted for it's gentle yet effective ability to not only cleanse the skin but balance the skin's pH. Rosewater pH is about 4.0 to 4.5 which is right in line with our skin's pH and by using products in that pH level the skin's less irritated and more tolerant.  It's rich in vitamin C and phenolics. Phenolics reduce DNA damage and contain potent anti-aging actives, promote even skin tone by reducing the visibility of sunspots, reduces color pigmentation such as dark undereye circles and help to minimize inflamed skin and redness.

Rosewater is rich in tannins, which can have a tightening effect on the skin. 

Beet Sugar Extract - is a food-grade moisturizer that is naturally derived from a renewable source of Beet Sugar. Betaine is one of the four classes of osmolytes that act to maintain intracellular hydration (water levels) helping to prevent damage from environmental stressors such as UV radiation and oxidation. This important function allows the cells to function more efficiently to help prevent damage and dehydration responsible for the look of parched, sallow, and discolored skin. The true key to the look of healthy skin is hydration. Unlike traditional humectants, which draw moisture from the environment, Beet Sugar Extract adds hydration directly due to its abundant source of saccharides. This leaves the skin soft and smooth.

AHA Technology -  Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) improving the skin’s texture and minimizing the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles to create an overall healthy, revitalized aesthetic. Our formulation contains Malic acid, which promotes the appearance of healthy and smoother feeling skin, Glycolic acid, the smallest AHA molecule, isolated from sugar cane and sugar beets and is most often used in chemical peels. Lactic acid, a hygroscopic AHA, also known as milk acid is primarily found in sour milk products. Citric acid, a natural preservative, is found in a variety of fruits, most notably citrus, with lemons and limes having the highest concentrations.

The mechanism of action of AHA’s is to bind to cell adhesion molecules and reduce the calcium ion concentra­tion thus disrupting cellular adhesion. This results in the desquamation (shedding) of the outermost layer of skin. The reduction of calcium ion levels also promotes cell growth and retardation of cellular differentiation, therefore, giving rise to younger-looking skin.

HOW TO USE:

Gently mist tonic onto clean face, press into skin with clean palms OR mist onto a cotton pad and apply onto clean face. Allow drying to near dampness. Follow up with your choice of serum & moisturizer. 

TIP: To get your skin adjusted to the use of AHAs, start with using this once a day, preferably at night.

CAUTION: Do not use on irritated skin. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Consult a doctor if irritation persists. Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs rinse well with warm water. This product may make your skin more sensitive to the sun, use adequate sunscreen protection while using this product and for a week after you discontinue use.
